Fabulous
vintage designer Howard Greer cocktail dress! Greer had notable celebrity
clientele and is famed for his late-day and eveningwear. Early on he
designed for Hollywood film makers and Irene Lentz was his assistant at
one time before she took over for Adrian at Metro-Goldyn-Mayer. His
designs have been compared to the likes of both Adrian and Irene.
Black silk fabric
with large red roses. Sheer feminine neckline trimmed with black velvet.
Has 3/4 length sleeves and a generous amount of fabric pleated at the back of the skirt for a gorgeous
full train style effect.
Fastens up the center back with a long metal zipper, hidden snaps and
hooks/eyes.
